일반특징 |
등딱지는 적갈색으로 머리 뒤쪽과 가장자리 등의 색이 진하다. 다리는 적갈색으로 크고 길며 가시 털이 많다. 배는 긴 원통 모양이고, 등면은 황갈색 바탕에 은빛 비늘무늬가 덮여 있으며, 세로로 길게 뻗은 1쌍의 흑갈색 물결무늬는 가운데 부분이 밝다. 암컷의 생식기에 있는 개구부는 코 모양으로 넓적하다. 산과 들에 흐르는 냇물이나 물가의 풀숲 등에 수평으로 둥근 그물을 만들고 생활하며, 5~10월에 관찰된다.
