일반특징 |
등딱지는 흑갈색이며 가운데에 앞쪽이 넓은 황백색 줄무늬가 있다. 다리는 갈색 바탕에 검은 고리무늬가 있고 긴 가시 털이 많이 나 있다. 배는 갸름한 달걀 모양으로 갈색이며 가운데에 황백색 줄무늬가 있다. 옆면에는 4~5쌍의 검은 빗살무늬가 늘어서 있다. 수컷은 머리에서 배 끝까지 흰색 세로무늬가 뻗어 있다. 논과 밭 등의 평지에 많은 편이고, 벼의 해충을 없애는데 도움을 준다. 한국, 일본, 중국, 필리핀, 인도, 파키스탄 등에 분포하며 4~8월에 관찰된다.
