일반특징 |
등딱지는 황갈색이며 머리 쪽의 폭이 좁고, 가운데 선 양쪽에 폭넓은 암갈색 세로무늬가 있으나 가슴 가장자리는 선이 둘려 있지 않다. 배는 황갈색 바탕에 흰색 八자 모양의 무늬가 7~8쌍 있다. 암컷의 생식기는 갸름한 단지 모양이다. 산과 들, 풀숲과 나뭇가지 사이에 불규칙한 모양의 그물을 만들고 가운데에 터널 모양의 집을 만들어서 그 속에 숨어 산다. 먹이가 다가오면 쫓아 나와서 잡아먹는다. 새끼 거미는 붉은색이며 한국, 일본, 중국, 러시아, 미얀마 등에 분포한다. 성숙기는 7~8월이며 7~9월에 관찰된다.
